This customer-facing role requires a dynamic individual with experience in complex systems and the ability to manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously. This position will be based in a Clarios location: Hannover/ Limbach or Delbrück (Germany).\nKey Responsibilities: What you will do\nLead pursuit engineering activities for automotive low voltage Lithium Ion batteries, Sodium Ion batteries, and super capacitors.\nCollaborate with automotive customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored electronic solutions.\nDesign and develop electronic systems and components for energy storage solutions.\nWork with Core Electronics Team to align electronic design to core platform designs as a starting baseline.\nManage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.\nProvide technical support and guidance to customers from early customer engagement through project award.\nWork with cross-functional engineering team to design energy storage systems to meet customer requirements with a specific focus on design for cost.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of electronic solutions.\nConduct electronic analysis, modeling, and simulation to ensure compliance with customer requirements and automotive standards.\nStay updated with industry trends and advancements in energy storage technologies.\nQualifications, Knowledge and Experience - Who We Look For\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics Engineering (highly desirable) or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.\nProven engineering experience within the automotive industry, ideally with a strong focus on embedded PCBA electronics design and development.\nHands-on expertise with low-voltage energy storage systems.\n Power electronics experience (DC/DC converters, inverters, power stages).\nSolid understanding of automotive Functional Safety principles, especially ISO 26262.\nProficiency with electronic circuit design and simulation tools.\nKnowledge of relevant automotive standards, regulations and qualification processes.\nAbility to handle and coordinate multiple development activities simultaneously.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.\nAbility to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.\nFluency in English; German language skills are highly desirable.\nBenefits: What we offer you\nAs a technology leader with strong brand (i.e. VARTA® and OPTIMA®), Clarios notably lives on the creativity, capability and satisfaction of its employees.
