If you enjoy combining quality engineering, data analysis, systems management, and continuous improvement, this is an opportunity to make a broad impact across a global manufacturing network.\nWhat Does Success Look Like\nLead business support for quality software systems and databases (including Proficy, GageTalker, and reporting platforms) to ensure accurate data collection, SPC analysis, and reporting across multiple Clarios plants.\nDrive data-driven decision making by developing and maintaining key quality metrics, dashboards, and reports that enable plants to improve process capability, reduce defects, and support continuous improvement efforts.\nEnsure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of quality databases while partnering with IT and plant teams on system implementations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and enhancements.\nAnalyze process and product data using statistical methods and quality tools to identify trends, improve process performance, and support achievement of quality KPIs, customer requirements, and compliance standards.\nSupport deployment of quality best practices, standardized procedures, and robust quality systems throughout the organization while helping maintain compliance with IATF 16949 and automotive customer-specific requirements.\nProvide technical support for calibration systems, laboratory equipment, electrical testing processes, and process verification activities to ensure measurement accuracy and product quality across manufacturing operations.\nWhat We Look For\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Quality, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.\n3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Systems, Manufacturing Engineering, or related functions within a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).\nStrong experience with data analysis, quality reporting systems, databases, and advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities.\nKnowledge of IATF 16949, Statistical Process Control (SPC), quality systems, and automotive customer requirements.\nAdditional Required Skills\nExperience working with Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.\nExperience developing reports, metrics, and dashboards to support business decisions.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to work cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Operations, and IT teams.\nKnowledge of process control techniques and quality methodologies.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAutomotive manufacturing experience.\nExperience supporting quality software systems such as Proficy, GageTalker, or similar manufacturing applications.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Visual Basic (VB) programming.\nExperience supporting calibration systems, laboratory testing, and electrical compliance programs.\nCertified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other quality-related certifications.\nExperience leading quality improvement projects and implementing best practices across multiple facilities.\nApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; Clarios will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visas for this opportunity.\nWhat we do here\nTampa - Fully Integrated Plant\nTampa, Florida is home to a fully integrated plant that manufactures batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks.
