This plant-based leadership role is responsible for overseeing maintenance technicians, storeroom operations, and wastewater resources during the shift, while ensuring equipment reliability, safety, quality, and production performance.\nWhat Does Success Look Like\nLead and develop the maintenance team to safely execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities while supporting production goals.\nDrive equipment reliability by improving key performance metrics including OEE, MTTR, MTBF, PM/PdM Compliance, and Schedule Compliance.\nPartner closely with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to maximize uptime, minimize downtime, and achieve daily production targets.\nOversee work management and CMMS processes, ensuring work orders are properly identified, executed, documented, and completed.\nManage storeroom activities, materials usage, inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and resource planning to support maintenance effectiveness.\nBuild a proactive maintenance culture through TPM, Reliability Excellence, continuous improvement initiatives, employee development, and performance management.\nWhat We Look For\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.\n3+ years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.\n1+ year of supervisory or leadership experience managing maintenance teams.\nHands-on experience with mechanical systems, PLCs, electrical components, pneumatics, and hydraulics.\nAdditional Requirements\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment documentation.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nAbility to work in a plant manufacturing environment and support off-shift maintenance activities as needed.\nPreferred\nExperience using Maximo CMMS.\nExperience with Kronos or similar workforce timekeeping systems.\nExperience supporting TPM, Reliability Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement initiatives.\nExperience managing maintenance KPIs and reliability-focused maintenance programs.\nWork Authorization\nApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; Clarios will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visas for this opportunity.\nWhat we do here\nTampa - Fully Integrated Plant\nTampa, Florida is home to a fully integrated plant that manufactures batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks.
