This person will be responsible for enhancing the customer experience by establishing new rental and sales accounts and providing exceptional customer service to call-in and walk-in customers.\nReporting to: Manager, Operations\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nProcess rental quotations, reservations, contracts, and invoices in compliance with company policies\nAssist Operations Manager with service administrative tasks\nCoordinate and track daily equipment pick-ups and returns\nWork in a fast paced sales environment, providing helpful, quality service and sales\nService writing; providing equipment maintenance and shop service records\nAssist with deliveries and preparing equipment for rental\nIdentify customer needs and react appropriately while understanding market conditions and local competitors\nSuggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs\nAnswering customer inquiries urgently and efficiently\nPicking orders\nPutting away equipment and tools\nContinuous inventory checks\nGeneral house keeping\nGeneral warehouse duties\nRepresent Northstar Equipment Rentals in a professional manner\nParticipate in the on-call rotation\nOther duties and responsibilities as required\nSkills and Knowledge:\nAbility to work in a fast paced environment with a variety of tasks in an effective, organized manner\nDemonstrate sales professionalism and interpersonal skills\nProven ability to work effectively within a team environment\nKnowledge of construction equipment considered an asset\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nDisplay a high level of ownership, accountability and initiative\nMicrosoft Office skills with experience using MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Access\nQualifications:\nCustomer service experience in the rental business an asset\nAbility to lift 50+ pounds\nExperience operating a forklift and other equipment an asset; training will be provided\nValid class 5 Alberta driver license with clean abstract\nLive our CORE Values: Have a Can-Do Attitude, Respect Others, succeed as a Team, Lead with Courage and Deliver Results\nReady to build your career with us?
