Working out of the Edmontonoffice, the Senior Project Manager will lead and support projects across all our regions of work. This role is highly accountable and responsible for all aspects associated with the successful execution and delivery of our projects safely, within budget, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You must have the highest respect for people, lead the implementation of measurable lean practices, and demonstrate a proven track record of achieving the successful delivery of the projects identified conditions of satisfaction.\nReporting to:Director, Operations or Project Executive\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nLeads, Builds, and Develops Operations Talent and Cultural Management, supporting Clark Builders as the best place to learn, work, and thrive\nLeads and Ensures that all Operational standards and processes are achieved, ensuring operational efficiency, consistency & excellence are achieved\nProvide elevated client care and services to ensure highest value to clients\nDevelop a strategy to Deliver and drive Results on the identified project performance goals and conditions of satisfaction\nDrive Innovation, Continuous Improvement, and a Lean Culture through best practices, training and development of all staff members\nResponsible for all aspects of project start up, including but not limited to, finalizing Prime Contract, conducting project startup meetings and prepare project execution plan, resource and staffing plans, and procurement management\nWorking with the Estimating and Business Development teams to pursue and secure work\nResponsible for all aspects of financial management strategy\nManagement of Safety, Quality Control and Communications plan\nCreate and manage schedule\nChair meetings, issue minutes and follow up on action items\nTrack productivity and performance of the project\nManage stakeholder expectations\nResponsible for all aspects of project close out including training, inspections, turn over and warranty\nSupporting business development activities by maintaining long lasting relationships with clients, the design community, engineers and other organizations which enhance future business development opportunities\nResponsible for Coaching, mentoring, and developing a diverse team and ensuring Clark Builders is creating growth opportunities to achieve both individual and corporate goals and objectives\nSkills and Knowledge:\nExcellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills\nAnalytical thinker with ability to interpret complex information and recommend innovative solutions\nPromote Clark Builders through Community involvement and activities\nCapable of making complex, ambiguous and risk adverse decisions\nProactive approach to prevention and resolution of conflicts\nAbility to identify, assess and manage risks while striving to meet objectives\nLead and develop company initiatives with respect to industry technology, innovations, and processes to ensure Clark Builders maintains its position as an industry leader in construction\nLive Clark Builders CORE Values: Have a Can-Do Attitude, Respect Others, succeed as a Team, Lead with Courage and Deliver Results\nQualifications:\nBachelors' degree, diploma or 2-year certificate in a construction related discipline\n10+ years’ experience working as a Project Manager, managing the construction of Commercial, Industrial, or Intuitional buildings\nExperience with various types of construction contracts\nExperience managing the entire construction process from startup to closeout on a variety of project sizes and complexities\nUnderstanding the principles of Lean thinking, collaborative planning, and continuous improvement\nExperience with Last Planner® System an asset\nExperience with Procore® Construction Management Software an asset\nReady to build your career with us?
