Learn more about our Purpose and what drives us by visiting our Who We Are page.\nPosition Summary:\nReporting to the Field Operations Manager, theYard Attendant Lead is responsible for assigning and prioritizing the general warehouse duties that include shipping and receiving of equipment and consumable orders, accurate paperwork for equipment returns, loading and unloading of equipment and building supplies along with keeping the warehouse and tool crib clean and organized. This position is an integral part of the Field Operations team with expectations of providing exceptional customer service experience.\nThis role will be based on the Sturgeon Data Center project site located just outside of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nAssign, prioritize and direct daily tasks of shipper/receivers to complete the daily orders. \nCommunicate with the Yard Attendant on priority tasks.\nDemonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to motivate the team.\nComplete and submit proper paperwork on all shipments to the Order Desk. \nInspects equipment prior to shipment and upon return for serviceability. \nCommunicate with Fleet/Equipment Lead Hand and Field Leadership on damaged or missing equipment. \nResponsible for the safe and accurate loading of equipment for site orders. \nMonitors equipment and bulk inventories, notify the appropriate personnel of any shortages. \nCommunicate with Order Desk about potential issues with shipments.\nEnsure proper packaging and addressing of shipments for common carriers. Ensures that all dangerous goods requirements are enforced.\nResponsible for general housekeeping and organization of the warehouse/yard and keeping the red and green tagged equipment distinctly seperate.\nProvide ongoing quality control inspections and recommend improvements.\nTrain new employees on daily duties.\nLive our CORE Values, have a Can-Do Attitude, Respect Others, Succeed as a Team, Lead with Courage, and Deliver Results.\nPerform additional jobrelated assignments as directed by supervisor.\nAdhere to Clark Builders policies and procedure.\nSkills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:\nPossess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.\nMust have a clean and valid class 5 Alberta driver’s license.\nStrong communication, analytical skills and have a flexible approach to problem solving.\nDisplay a high level of ownership, accountability and initiative.\nExceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.\nWillingness to participate with an on-call system and be able to work overtime as required.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks in an effective, organized, safe manner with the ability to multitask.\nDemonstrates professionalism, integrity and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively\nKnowledge of construction equipment considered a definite asset.\nMust be able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.\nReady to build your career with us?
