This role will also actively contribute to Corporate Initiatives including, but not limited to, training development and delivery, data analytics, trend identification and reporting.\nResponsibilities\nUnderstand and implement accepted Planning & Scheduling Best Practices\n\nAnalyze drawings, specifications, and statements of work in the preparation and acceptance of usable Baseline schedules for construction\n\nMonitor multiple project schedules being developed and updated by Operations staff and provide guidance as necessary\n\nInteract with the Operations team and represent Clark and its partners in the best manner to owners, subcontractors, and their representatives\n\nSupport the development of conceptual bid and proposal schedules with executive management and present to selection committees if required\n\nUtilize analytics to identify and report on project trends\n\nEffectively cost and manpower load schedules for use during the execution of the project\n\nEvaluate the actual construction status relative to proposed plan\n\nAnalyze and communicate the impact of changes to the schedule\n\nPrepare Time Impact Analyses per recommended practices by commonly accepted standards\n\nTravel to project sites\n\nDevelop and deliver specialized Planning, Scheduling and other Project Controls training for Clark Corporate University\n\nCritique, create, and recommend improvements to departmental policies and procedures\n\nBe responsible for special projects and other departmental duties as necessary\n\nBasic Qualifications\nUndergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline preferred\n\n3+ years scheduling experience on commercial construction projects\n\nProven success implementing strategic initiatives\n\nDetail oriented and can manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment with minimal guidance\n\nSkilled at developing and maintaining relationships with owners, subcontractors, senior leaders and project teams\n\nHigh degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Primavera (P6) software\n\nAlignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: Self-Motivated, Results Oriented, Adaptable, Team Player, Accountable, Ethical, Innovative, Resilient, Builds Relationships, Builds People / Teams & Followership, Sets Direction & Executes\n\nThe work environment and requirements described below are representative of those necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.\nThe Physical Side of the Role: This is an active, hands-on role. You can expect to be on your feet frequently, navigating active job sites with uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and hoists. The work is physically demanding and requires a full range of motion, including bending, kneeling, and reaching. You’ll need to be comfortable frequently lifting and carrying materials up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively, as well as visual acuity for reading plans and inspecting work. The role does include desk time in the office that may require prolonged periods of sitting for tasks like computer work, document review, and meetings.\nYour Work Environment: You’ll spend a significant amount of your time on active construction sites, which means being adaptable to all kinds of weather and moderate to loud noise levels, and comfortable in elevated or confined work areas with moving mechanical equipment and with the fast-paced nature of a project in progress. You will also spend time in a typical office setting with moderate noise levels. For this role the base salary range is 85,000-185,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
