This position will ensure the successful adoption of BIM to leverage the complete construction data lifecycle, beginning with preconstruction services through construction and project turnover.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage project level BIM Coordination, including clash detection, running technical BIM meetings, and follow-ups.\n\nRepresent Clark by participating in BIM presentations to clients and industry groups.\n\nEstablish BIM goals and objectives and develop project-specific BIM workflows.\n\nManage and implement BIM project setup process (e.g., BIM Execution Plan, file formats, nomenclature, model co-coordinates, data sharing, meeting/coordination schedule etc.)\n\nFacilitate initial BIM meetings and design or MEP coordination sessions.\n\nInteract with all stakeholders and for smooth project BIM implementation.\n\nDaily coordination with global/offsite team members to ensure work continuity & productivity.\n\nGeneral administration work, like writing proposals, making presentations, project billings, etc.\n\nQA/QC of drawings and models created by others (including scan to BIM).\n\nModify/rectify models created by others.\n\nRole requires traveling to jobsites in the DMV area\n\nBasic Qualifications\n5+ years’ experience overseeing BIM implementation (preferred experience with MEP subcontractors).\n\nBachelor’s degree in architecture/civil engineering/mechanical engineering.\n\nBroad, general understanding of many relevant areas of municipal engineering, hydraulics, and process mechanical systems design with respect to materials as well as industry standards.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of commonly used BIM software like Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Synchro, Sketchup, BIM Track, Bluebeam, 3DS Max, Tekla, Fusor etc.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel & PowerPoint.\n\nExceptional knowledge of BIM processes used in the industry.\n\nStrong presentation skills.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to work well as part of a team and independently.\n\nHigh sense of quality driven deliverables\n\nAbility to manage priorities with minimal guidance.\n\nPassion and experience to work with cross cultural/global teams.\n\nExperience in Scan (point cloud) to BIM modeling.\n\nExperience in creating LOD 400 models and shop drawings.\n\nExperience in performing quantity take offs from models and drawings.\n\nExperience in creating 4D simulations, 3D animations and walkthroughs.\n\nFunctional knowledge of BIM-FM and COBie.\n\nAbility to work with overseas teams virtually in different time zones.00012\n\nExcellence in QA/QC of models created by others.\n\nThe Physical Side of the Role: Given that a good portion of your day will be spent at a desk, you should be comfortable with prolonged periods of focused work, whether it's collaborating with colleagues, analyzing data, or developing strategies. The role demands effective communication and sharp visual acuity for reviewing complex documents and performing detailed computer work. While there are times for quiet concentration, you'll also be expected to move actively throughout the office and travel occasionally to various locations, including dynamic construction sites, utilizing different modes of transportation. The ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds regularly, and up to 25 pounds on occasion (think a box of files or small office equipment), is also required.\nYour Work Environment: Your primary workspace will be in our professional office, which has a typical, quiet-to-moderate noise and light levels. As part of your work, you may also be required to visit active construction sites. These environments are naturally more dynamic and can include exposure to outdoor weather conditions, louder noise, and moving equipment. For this role the base salary range is $45,000 - $140,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
