Position Title: Accountant
Work Set Up: Onsite
Quick Rundown:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage financial transactions, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support overall financial health. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, records, and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
- Conduct audits and ensure internal controls are properly implemented
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost-saving and efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial decision-making
- Stay updated with accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification is a plus
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Yardi Voyager, Xero) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
