This position coordinates the flow of materials and production activities across manufacturing operations to ensure on-time delivery, optimal inventory levels, and efficient utilization of resources.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nNone\nDuties/Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nDevelop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer demand, forecast requirements, and inventory targets.\nPlan and schedule production across manufacturing work centers based on customer orders, capacity, material availability, and delivery requirements.\nReview and adjust production schedules daily to ensure priorities align with customer commitments and business objectives.\nIssue and maintain production/shop orders in accordance with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and the Master Production Schedule.\nMonitor production performance against schedule and make adjustments as needed to achieve delivery and efficiency targets.\nCoordinate molding, assembly, and secondary operation requirements to ensure a consistent flow of materials throughout the manufacturing process.\nMaintain targeted Finished Goods (FG) and Work-in-Process (WIP) inventory levels.\nValidate production schedules against available raw materials, components, packaging materials, and resource availability.\nPerform capacity analysis to evaluate labor, equipment, tooling, and production resources needed to meet demand.\nMonitor inventory trends and collaborate with Inventory Control to minimize inventory variances and prevent shortages or excess stock.\nCoordinate production transfers to alternate facilities or external sources when capacity constraints require.\nWork closely with Customer Service to acknowledge customer orders and establish realistic delivery commitments.\nPartner with Engineering to coordinate new product introductions (NPI) and ensure a smooth transition from launch to full production.\nProvide timely communication regarding production status and schedule adherence for customer programs.\nSupport proactive planning efforts to minimize downtime and maximize manufacturing efficiency.\nTrack and analyze scheduling, inventory, and service-related key performance indicators (KPIs).\nReview and maintain planning parameters within ERP/MRP systems to ensure data accuracy and effective production planning.\nQualifications and Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
