Summary:\nDirects and supervises all activities of assigned shift to ensure scheduled production is achieved and quality standards are met.\nEssential Job Functions:\nSupervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in molding plastic products, applying knowledge of molding machine setup and operating techniques and production machining methods: Reads operating logs to identify inoperative molding machines, determines reasons for machine malfunction, and arranges for machine repair.\nResponsible in making sure all the necessary components and packaging supplies are verified and log-in the Lot #'s.\nInteraction with Quality Team, Mold Technician and Maintenance in making sure manufacturing process and products meets expectation.\nProvide accurate information on productivity and physical finished goods from the warehouse.\nFollow-up and monitor operator's conformance in quality and Work Standards.\nReviews production schedules and work orders, and assigns duties to workers according to order priorities.\nStudies quality control reports to identify product defects and directs machine operators to adjust machines to eliminate flaws.\nExamines molded products from each machine to verify conformance to specifications.\nConducts or directs training of new employees in machine operation.\nConfers with management and other supervisors to resolve production problems.\nEnsures safety requirements are met by enforcing the use of personal protective equipment (i.e., safety glasses, etc.) and requiring team members to keep work areas clean and uncluttered.\nOther duties may be assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\n15 or more direct reports\nAuthority to change Production Schedule\nCommunicate operator's non-conformance, verbally and in writing.\nUtilize all Production Staff to meet customer requirement and reduced waste.\nAbility to issue Disciplinary Action\nQualifications and Experience:\nEducation: High School Graduate or Equivalent.\nExperience in Leadership and Supervision skill.\n4 Years’ Experience in Injection Molding and/or similar work experience.\nMust have excellent attendance record.\nAbility to work safely and with minimal supervision\nAbility to clearly communicate and interact with all levels of personnel professionally\nAbility to follow written and verbal directions and complete work independently\nAbility to adhere to workplace rules.\nAble to communicate and write in English, with Basic Math skill.\nWork Environment/Physical Requirements:\nAbility to stand for long periods of time\nAble to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds\nStanding, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling.\nPossibility of exposure to noise, uncontrolled temperatures, and
