The Senior Accountant collaborates cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and Group Finance teams to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nNone currently; may provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.\nDuties/Responsibilities\nThe following duties are essential but not exhaustive; additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed:\nFinancial Reporting & General Accounting\nPrepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.\nMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting workpapers.\nAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.\nAnalyze financial results and investigate fluctuations or unusual variances.\nSupport month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely reporting.\nEnsure compliance with US GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal control procedures.\nSupport the preparation of audit schedules and financial reporting packages.\nIntercompany & Consolidation Accounting\nManage and reconcile complex intercompany transactions across multiple entities.\nInvestigate and resolve intercompany discrepancies in a timely manner.\nSupport Group consolidation activities and reporting within EPM Amelkis.\nEnsure proper reconciliation and alignment of intercompany balances at the consolidation level.\nAssist with intercompany invoicing, allocations, and settlement processes.\nForecasting, Budgeting & Financial Analysis\nSupport the preparation of forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections.\nAssist management with variance analysis and financial reporting requests.\nMonitor spending trends and identify opportunities for cost optimization and financial improvements.\nPrepare ad hoc financial analyses and management reports.\nAssist with profitability analysis and operational reporting initiatives.\nFixed Assets, CAPEX & Lease Accounting\nMaintain fixed asset records and support capitalization processes.\nTrack and reconcile CAPEX projects and related expenditures.\nAssist with physical inventory and fixed asset verification processes.\nSupport lease accounting activities and asset-related reconciliations as required.\nEnsure compliance with company capitalization policies and accounting standards.\nSupport depreciation calculations and asset disposals.\nInternal Controls & Audit Support\nSupport the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and accounting procedures.\nAssist in documenting accounting processes and improving process standardization.\nEnsure audit readiness by maintaining organized documentation and supporting schedules.\nCoordinate with external auditors and provide requested information during annual audits and interim reviews.\nRecommend improvements to strengthen financial accuracy, efficiency, and risk management.\nAssist in identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements.\nERP Systems & Process Improvement\nParticipate in ERP optimization and accounting system enhancement initiatives.\nSupport implementation, testing, and continuous improvement of accounting and reporting systems.\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve reporting efficiency.\nAssist with the implementation and maintenance of financial reporting tools and system integrations.\nSupport data integrity and master data maintenance activities within ERP systems.\nOperations & Cross-Functional Support\nPartner with Operations, HR, Supply Chain, and other departments to support accurate financial reporting and process alignment.\nParticipate in physical inventory activities and inventory control initiatives.\nSupport acquisitions, integrations, and other finance-related projects as assigned.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Finance organization.\nProvide support during system implementations and operational transitions.\nTax & Regulatory Compliance\nGather, analyze, and compile data for tax estimates, tax filings, and regulatory compliance reporting.\nCoordinate with external tax advisors and auditors by providing requested documentation and financial data.\nAssist in monitoring compliance with tax regulations and reporting deadlines.\nSupport sales and use tax, property tax, and other compliance-related activities as needed.\nMaintain organized tax documentation and supporting records for audit and compliance purposes.\nAssist in identifying opportunities to improve tax reporting processes and data accuracy.\nQualifications and Experience\nEducation & Professional Background\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.\nCPA or MBA preferred.\nMinimum 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.\nExperience with intercompany accounting and consolidations preferred.\nExperience with manufacturing costing and inventory accounting is a plus.\nExperience with LEAN manufacturing principles is considered an advantage.\nTechnical Skills\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Word.\nExperience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.\nExperience with TMM, IQMS, or similar manufacturing ERP systems preferred.\nExperience with EPM Amelkis or consolidation tools is considered an advantage.\nIntermediate experience with Microsoft Access preferred.\nAbility to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.\nAbility to
