This position plays an important role in providing coverage for vacant routes and supporting our operations as needed.\nWhy work for Clean Harbors?\nHealth and Safety is our #1 priority, and we live it 3-6-5!\nCompetitive Salary: $32-$37/hr. \nComprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment.\nGroup RRSP with matching Component.\nOpportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career.\nGenerous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement.\nPositive and safe work environments.\n Safely operate DZ-licensed vehicles to deliver, collect, and transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials, including used oil and antifreeze.\nService parts washer equipment by removing spent fluids and replenishing fresh cleaning solutions.\nProvide route coverage for vacations, absences, and open routes, ensuring consistent and reliable customer service.\nLoad, unload, and handle materials safely in compliance with company policies, TDGA, Ontario Regulation 347, and applicable environmental and safety regulations.\nComplete required transportation, shipping, and waste documentation accurately and efficiently.\nManage daily routes to meet scheduled delivery and collection commitments.\nBuild strong customer relationships through professional service, communication, and timely issue resolution.\nIdentify sales opportunities and communicate customer needs to the sales team.\nWork closely with dispatch, operations, and branch teams to ensure efficient route execution and customer satisfaction.\n Valid DZ driver’s license with 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.\nManual transmission experience is strongly preferred.\nReliable personal vehicle for commuting to the identified home branch.\nClean driving record and strong commitment to safe driving practices.\nExcellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build positive customer relationships.\nExperience in environmental services, hazardous waste management, or a related industry is an asset.\nPhysically capable of performing demanding duties in various work environments.\nWillingness to travel throughout Ontario and out of province as required.\nSafety-Kleen Systems, a Clean Harbors company, has a commitment to excellence deeply rooted in a strong sense of tradition.
