Co-chairs Facility Health & Safety meetings.\nPartner with Facility Compliance Manager to maintain the facility in compliance.\nAnalyzes waste samples for acceptance and develops treatment recipes.\nResponsible for management of profit and loss statement according to budgeted revenue and percentages. Assures operating costs, labor, materials, supplies, disposal, and SG&A costs meet or exceed budgeted parameters. Approves purchasing and manages labor to assure operating costs are in line with budgeted and projected revenue.\nResponsible for the training and development of all plant employees. Responsible for mentoring current and future managers assuring the continued growth of the company.\nManagement of maintenance department.\nAssures facility is always properly maintained, clean and presentable for customer audits and tours. Participates when necessary or requested.\nDevelops and assures a good working relationship with local Field Service General Manager, Technical Services General Manager, and Logistics Manager.\nMay be assigned additional duties not listed above based on business needs.\n Bachelor's degree\n7-10+ years' experience in operations.\nProven leadership experience managing facility operations, employees, and business performance in an industrial or hazardous waste environment.\nStrong knowledge of RCRA, DOT, environmental regulations, and regulatory compliance requirements.\nExperience leading and developing teams, including employee training, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.\nDemonstrated ability to drive a strong safety culture and maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards.\nStrong understanding of plant operations, maintenance programs, and operational processes.\nExperience managing budgets, labor resources, operating costs, and profit and loss performance.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business and operational software systems.\nAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities while delivering operational, safety, financial, and compliance objectives.\nClean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.\nClean Harbors is committed to providing access, equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.
