The successful candidate will require a Class 1 or Class 3 License. They will be responsible for operating units in performing Daylighting excavation activities associated with pipeline, construction, utility and oil terminal work. Local 955 wages $37.87-$40.04 based on experience; \nWork in a Union Environment! \nComprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment;\nGroup RRSP with company matching component;\nOpportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career;\nGenerous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement;\nPositive and safe work environments.\n Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;\nDrive and operate Hydro Vac Units;\nComplete tasks associated with daylighting excavation such as, trenching and shoring;\nRig equipment in and out;\nPerform pre and post trip inspections;\nMaintain and updates driver’s log book;\nComplete all required paperwork on a daily basis;\nGeneral clean-up and maintenance of units upon completion of the job.\n Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License required;\n1+ years of commercial driving experience required;\nAbility to drive manual transmissions (10,13,18 speeds)\nMinimum of 12+ months of previous Hydro Vac experience is preferred;\nPrevious experience in a labour intensive position is required (i.e. oil and gas, industrial, etc.);\nValid Safety Tickets preferred (i.e. Ground Disturbance, First Aid with CPR, CSO or CSTS, H2S Alive, Confined Space, Fall Arrest);\nAbility to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time;\nFlexibility to work on call 24/7 for Emergency Response calls.\nWondering what to expect in starting your career with Lone Star?
