Maintain clear and concise logs of all maintenance and calibrations.\nMove and set up equipment at job sites.\nMonitor emissions from frac tanks and other refinery equipment under HPC Industrial care.\nReview all applicable paperwork ensuring proper completion.\nTrack carbon change outs and usage and manage liquid media on site.\nAbility to operate HPC vehicles and equipment\nInspects equipment and general work area prior to starting any job. Corrects deficiencies that may cause accidents, injuries, lost productivity or harm to equipment or that are inconsistent with client’s requirements.\nPerforms preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment when required.\nCompletes all appropriate paperwork.\nTrains Technicians and Operators on-the-job in equipment operation, service line processes and necessary paperwork.\nOperates all necessary equipment in the vapor control service line in accordance with operation training and safety procedures.\nEstimated 70% out of town travel required. Project durations 1 to 3 weeks (but not limited to).\nUtilization of the Safety 3-6-5 Safety System in all aspects of operations.\nFollow all DOT guidelines for hours of service.\nMaintain logs without error.\nEmployee is on time and prepared for work.\nMaintain compliant calibration records.\nPaperwork and MSS form feedback is quick and efficient.\nEmployee responds with a sense of urgency to instructions.\nWhat does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?\nMUST Have Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) prior to interviewing and hiring\nMust have a valid state issued driving license and have clean driving record and reliable transportation for local work (60-mile radius)\nMust be able to show up on time and prepared for work\nCompliance with MVR policy\nCompliance with Drug policy\nCompliance with Background checking policy\nCompliance with DOT physical requirements\nPossess BASIC Safety Council Reciprocal Card (not required, but preferred)\nPossess all required I-9 documentation\nJOB RELATED EXPERIENCE:\nMinimum 1 year of plant work experience (not required, but preferred)\nMinimum 1 year experience operating thermal oxidizers and/or liquid scrubbers (not required, but preferred)\nDEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES FOR TANK CLEANING/ OPERATIONS & WASTE HANDLING\nSetup, operate, and maintain industrial pumps, high-pressure water hydroblasters, explosion-proof blowers, vacuum trucks, and non-sparking tools.\n\nPerform mechanical isolation by installing line blinds/pancakes and disconnecting product lines.\n\nRemove sludge, chemical scale, bottoms, and liquid waste from tank interiors, wall plates, sumps, and internal floating roofs.\n\nStage, label, and transfer hazardous/non-hazardous waste into designated vacuum trailers, roll-off boxes, or drums according to environmental regulations.\n\nEquipment Maintenance & Inspection Prep\n\nClean tank surfaces to meet specific quality criteria (e.g., hot-work ready, product-change clean, or API 653 structural inspection ready).\n\nInspect hoses, fittings, grounding/bonding cables, and ventilation equipment prior to daily shift deployment.\n\nQualifications & Requirements\n\nCredentials:Valid Driver's License; TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required for port/marine refineries.\n\nCertifications (Preferred/Required):40-Hour HAZWOPER, OSHA 10/30, Confined Space Entry/Rescue certification.\n\nPhysical Demands:\n\nAbility to lift/carry 50+ lbs, climb ladders/scaffolding, and bend or crawl through tight manways (typically 18\"-24\" openings).\n\nMust pass a medical evaluation and Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) to wear tight-fitting respirators.\n\nComfort working outdoors in extreme temperatures, high-noise environments, and tight confined spaces.\n\nWORKING ENVIRONMENT:\nOn Call 24/7, ability to report to work within 1 hour of notification\nAbility to work various shifts as needed.\nAbility to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.\nAbout HPC-Industrial:\nHPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is the premier industrial cleaning & environmental services company in North America supporting the upstream, downstream, & utility sectors.
