This is a hands-on role that works closely with operations to safely receive, test, and process incoming waste streams.\nResponsibilities\nCalibrate pH meters, scales, and perform bump tests prior to receiving truck loads \nPerform routine sample analysis using basic instrumentation in accordance with SOPs \nCollect and analyze samples from incoming trucks, including “Great 8” testing \nVerify samples match profile specifications and escalate discrepancies as needed \nReview and process incoming paperwork (manifests, profiles, work orders, and shipping documents) \nEnter and track load data, manifests, and lab results within internal systems \nScale trucks in and out and maintain accurate daily record logs \nDirect drivers for sampling and offloading in accordance with site procedures \nEnsure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner \nMaintain QA/QC standards and ensure compliance with all testing requirements \nFollow all OSHA, Health & Safety, and compliance protocols \nMaintain proper waste handling and disposal generated from lab analysis \nPerform general lab upkeep including cleaning equipment, labeling containers, and disposing of samples \nMaintain organization of lab supplies and ensure proper housekeeping standards \nAssist weigh-master, sampler, and receiver functions as needed to support operations \nQualifications\n0-3 years of laboratory or related experience preferred \nBasic understanding of chemistry, sample analysis, and lab safety procedures \nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills \nAbility to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment \nStrong communication and teamwork skills \nBasic computer skills and experience with data entry systems \nAbout Clean Harbors\nClean Harbors has a commitment to excellence deeply rooted in a strong sense of tradition.
