They use specialized equipment-such as Toxic Vapor Analyzers (TVAs/Method 21) or Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) cameras-to monitor, report, and facilitate repairs in refineries, chemical plants, and oil/gas sites. The role is physically active and often involves traveling to remote sites or working within complex, loud industrial environments. It is described as a detail-oriented, sometimes repetitive, but critical role for environmental protection.\nMust be able to wear protective clothing or equipment.
