Pay, schedule, and testing requirements are governed by the union contract.\nWork Schedule (per CBA): Monday-Friday; 6:00AM - 2:30PM\nHourly Wage (per CBA): $17.34-$35.70/HR\nWhy work for Safety-Kleen?\nHealth & Safety is our #1 priority, and we live it 3-6-5!\nLeader in environmental products and services\nCompetitive pay and benefits\nComprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days\nGroup 401-K and stock options\nOpportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career\nGenerous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement\nPositive and safe work environments \n Responsibilities\nPerforms preventative maintenance, conducts inspections, troubleshoots, diagnoses failures & deficiencies & performs necessary corrections.\n\nCompletes and maintains all service, parts/inventory records in a timely & accurate manner.\n\nCompletes daily checklist as required for proper operation of maintenance being performed.\n\nAssures daily maintenance duties performed and communicates any problems or issues with the\n\nUnit it immediately upon discovery.\n\nLOTO - Always follow safety protocol\n\nReviews all applicable SOPs, and complete all mandatory Company and job specific training.\n\nCompletes and submits all associated paperwork as required for tracking PM schedules.\n\nConducts Safety Checks & Annual Inspections\n\nFabricating, welding, modifications etc. / pump & piping installs\n\nEnsures that work meets all applicable Health and\n\nSafety Standard Operating Procedures.\n\nEnsures, understands, and has ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards.\n\nResponsible for maintaining a clean work environment.\n\nPerforms other assignments as assigned by management.\n\nKeeps within Compliance Standards.\n\nPerforms maintenance functions, including, but not limited to Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Mechanical\n\nMaintains facility equipment through Preventative Maintenance Management systems.\n\nAssures proper preventative maintenance of all plant equipment, stationary and mobile.\n\nAssembles components and parts, as required by manufacturers.\n\nMaintains all plant equipment and systems.\n\nOperates a forklift and various heavy equipment, when necessary, to assist in diagnosis.\n\nReviews all applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) and satisfactorily completes quizzes.\n\nResponsible for maintaining a clean work environment. Drives Clean Compliance Standard.\n\nEnsures that work meets compliance standards within facility operation. Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures.\n\nOther Duties Assigned\n\nTravel to other location local on occasion - St. Rose.\n\nQualifications\n3-5 years maintenance experience in a plant or Industrial environment preferred\n\nPlant maintenance experience in one or more of the following areas: mechanically inclined/strong troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, pneumatics, installations\n\nWilling and open to continuous learning\n\nMust be able to change directions\n\nSmall packaging, canning or bottling maintenance experience a plus!\n\nHydraulics systems experience\n\nPumps experience, and centrifugal and diaphragm pumps an asset -\n\nAbility to meet physical demands of the position and lift up to 50lbs, including movements such as lifting, bending, reaching, climbing, and the manipulating and handling of objects\n\nClean and valid driver’s license\n\nClean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.\nClean Harbors is committed to providing access, equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.
