Weekend Facility Technician

4 DAY WORK WEEK!!!

Clean Harbors located in La Porte, TX is seeking Weekend Facility Technicians to add to the team. The Weekend Facility Technician forLa Porte TX will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This includes loading/unloading trucks, preparing waste shipments, reconciling inventory, general housekeeping, and compliance with waste storage. This position will focus on loading. Position will start in the battery area sorting batteries, will learn the pumping and trailer loading areas once that area is mastered. During the winter will help with housekeeping projects in the facility which could include painting or other improvement items.

Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday- 10-hour shifts. 6:30am-5:00pm

Pay: $20/HR

• Load and unload route trucks;

• Sorting batteries;

• Working in the fuel area preparing loads for trucks;

• Working in the trailer loading area, loading trailers;

• Housekeeping projects and improvement projects at the facility;

• Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center;

• Manage inventory order and receiving process;

• General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area;

• Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required;

• 2+ plus years of related labor and computer experience;

• Forklift skills preferred- or willing to get certified.
