You will safely stage, position, and organize equipment while keeping yard operations moving efficiently.\nSchedule: Monday to Friday\nShift: 6:00 AM to3:30 PM\nPay rate 24/Hr (DOE)\nWork Location:1374 Beverage DR, Stone Mountain, GA 30083\nWhy work for Clean Harbors?\nHealth and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5\nCompetitive wages\nComprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment\nGroup 401K with company matching component \nOwn Part of the Company with our Employee Stock Purchase Plan\nGenerous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement\nOpportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career \n Operate forklifts and yard trucks to move, load, unload, and stage trailers, tankers, bins, pallets, and materials.\nSafely position trailers at docks and designated yard locations while following site traffic and safety procedures.\nPerform daily inspections of forklifts and yard trucks, including brakes, tires, lights, fluids, and safety equipment.\nSafely maneuver equipment in busy yard and warehouse areas and properly connect/disconnect trailers.\nInspect equipment for damage, leaks, or safety issues and report concerns to supervisors.\nFollow OSHA, DOT, company, and hazardous-material handling procedures.\n What does it take to work at Clean Harbors?\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n\n0-3 years of driving, yard operations, logistics, or related experience.\nValid driver’s license; forklift certification preferred.\nExperience operating forklifts, yard trucks, and box trucks.\nBasic computer, inventory, and RF scanner skills.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety.\nHAZMAT experience is a plus.\nAbility to lift 25+ lbs. repeatedly and 50+ lbs. as needed.\nAbility to work overtime and in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.\nStrong teamwork and communication skills.\nSkills:\nStrong spatial awareness and decision-making under minimal supervision\n\nMechanically inclined and safety conscious\n\nAble to plan and execute work efficiently under time-sensitive conditions\n\nPhysical Requirements\nMedium work: frequent lifting/carrying of up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.\n\nFrequent sitting, walking, bending, climbing, and use of hands and feet for vehicle operation\n\nMust pass a respirator fit test and work safely in outdoor environments\n\nOperate cars, small and large trucks with both automatic and manual transmissions within the yard\n\nSupport movement of vehicles required for real-time dock scheduling\n\nLess than 10% travel\n\nNo supervisory responsibilities\n\nPosition requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions\n\nDriving Requirements\nWork Environment\nClean Harbors has a commitment to excellence deeply rooted in a strong sense of tradition.
