Overview\nWe are looking for an ESG professional with approximately 1 year of experience to support Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Environmental & Social Due Diligence (ESDD) activities for renewable energy (Solar and Wind Asset) projects.\nThe role will involve coordinating with internal project teams, external consultants, supporting data collection and review, discussions and resolving lender and stakeholder's queries, and identifying environmental and social risks; tracking mitigation measures; and assisting in the preparation of Preliminary ESIA, and review of ESIA/ESDD reports in line with applicable regulatory requirements and applicable E&S standards, and implementation of management plans.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate ESIA/ESDD studies with external consultants and internal project teams.\nReview project information, layouts/KMZs, land details, permits, and E&S documentation.\nSupport preparation of Preliminary ESIA and review of ESIA/ESDD reports.\nIdentify and track environmental and social risks, gaps, and mitigation measures.\nSupport review of key E&S aspects including land, biodiversity, water, labour, H&S, community impacts, stakeholder engagement and cultural heritage.\nReview compliance with applicable Indian regulations, IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles and lender requirements.\nParticipate in site visits and document E&S observations.\nCoordinate responses to lender, investor, consultant and stakeholder queries.\nTrack implementation of ESMPs, CAPs and E&S commitments.\nMaintain E&S trackers, risk registers, dashboards and project documentation.\nQualifications & Skills\nBachelor's/Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, ESG, Social Sciences, Geography or related field.\n1-2 years of experience in ESG, ESIA/ESDD, E&S consulting, sustainability or renewable energy.\nBasic understanding of IFC Performance Standards and E&S risk management.\nGood report writing, analytical and coordination skills.\nProficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.\nWillingness to travel to project
