The role will primarily focus on assembling mechanical and electrical components and systems. The ideal candidate will be a reliable self-starter with strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and experience in equipment assembly.\nEssential Job Functions\nAssemble mechanical and electrical components and system assemblies;\nPerform light material handling and organize components for assembly;\nUtilize hand tools such as grinders, drills, wrenches, and similar equipment;\nPlumb systems using galvanized, PVC, and copper piping, including gluing and soldering;\nAssist with installation of industrial electrical wiring and conduit;\nSupport installation and wiring of medium and low voltage motors;\nInterpret and work from schematics, drawings, and assembly instructions as needed;\nAssist with control panel assembly when applicable;\nMaintain work areas, tools, and equipment in safe and proper working condition;\nEnsure compliance with company safety standards and procedures;\nParticipate in occasional travel and field service work as required;\nWork collaboratively with team members to meet production goals; and\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum of 3 years of assembly experience preferred;\nMechanical aptitude and ability to work with both mechanical and electrical components;\nExperience using basic hand and power tools;\nFamiliarity with PVC, copper, and galvanized piping systems;\nBasic understanding of industrial electrical wiring and conduit installation preferred;\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics preferred;\nForklift (Hi-Lo) experience is a plus;\nPositive attitude and strong work ethic;\nKnowledge of workplace safety practices;\nValid driver’s license required; and\nWillingness to travel occasionally for service-related work.\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to stand, walk, and perform manual labor for extended periods;\nAbility to lift and move materials and components as needed;\nManual dexterity to operate tools and equipment;\nAbility to work in various positions including standing, bending, and kneeling; and\nVisual ability to read schematics, measurements, and assembly instructions.\nWork Environment\nPrimarily light industrial manufacturing environment;\nMay involve exposure to equipment, noise, and industrial materials;\nWork may include handling materials associated with water and wastewater equipment systems;\nAppropriate PPE and safety training will be provided.\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. The base salary range for this position is between $20.00 and $28.00 per hour. Benefits package and incentives are provided.
