Cleanwater1, Inc., Inc., through its various operating subsidiaries, is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing companies in the water infrastructure market.\nUnder the direction of the Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer will work closely with the Project Management, Applications Engineering, Purchasing/Planning and Manufacturing teams to execute standard and custom projects within the North American water/wastewater markets. The Project Engineer will prepare technical submittal packages, bills of material (“BOM”), component specifications and diagrams while maintaining high quality and accuracy, as well as providing support to engineers and shop personnel.\nThe position may be based out of our Vineland, New Jersey facility, and may require visit to customer sites from time to time.\nEssential Job Functions\nPrepare and assemble technical and engineering documents required for project submittals and operational and instruction manuals\nProvide guidance and support on any in-house assembly or design of mechanical systems\nSpecify parts, create schematics, and generate the BOM documents for both standard and custom designs\nRead and interpret customer specifications from industrial or municipal customers\nProvide support at the time of equipment/factory testing\nUnderstand all drafting practices and procedures, plus the ability to perform and apply a variety of mathematical calculations and a thorough working knowledge of shop assembly processes\nResponsible for all project engineering and mechanical documentation administered over multiple projects, working with the appropriate Project Manager\nPerform other related duties as assigned\nAbility and willingness to travel between facilities and, on occasion, to customer sites; and\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Environmental engineering, or a similar field\nProficiency in AutoCAD\nAbility to interpret construction drawings, including mechanical, process, and electrical\nGood organizational, planning, and problem-solving capability\nDemonstrated verbal and written communications skills with effective use of visual aids\nSuperior analytical abilities\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple activities at the same time\nKnowledge of Applicable Industrial Codes and Standards; and\nExcellent computer skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in the municipal water and/or wastewater industries\nExperience in an applications or sales support role that included bidding and selling capital equipment\nAbility to identify and define system design requirements based on written and design specifications\nPrevious management experience within an engineering capacity\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to sit for long periods of time\nAbility to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.\nRegularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk, and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools, or controls\nMust have manual dexterity to operate the equipment and tools required for this position\nMust be able to quickly respond (with the hand, finger, or foot) to a signal (sound, light, picture) when it responds\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus; and\nAbility to look at computer monitors for much of the workday.\nWork Environment\nApproximately 70% Office; and\nApproximately 30% Light Industrial - May be exposed to areas of high noise levels, hazardous propellants, chemicals, and industrial facilities. The base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 annually. Benefits package and incentives are provided.
