Ideally, they will have a background in software development and programming. As a member of the IT team, the Programmer I will collaborate closely with IT staff to ensure system performance, continuity and life cycle. A collaborative attitude and analytical mindset are essential for this position, along with a problem-solving mindset.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAnalyze requirements and transform them into technical designs.\nWrite, optimize, and debug software programs and scripts.\nAnalyze and develop application components and functions.\nDesign stable, reliable and effective systems, and scripts.\nLiaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices.\nGather user and projects requirements.\nTest and document software.\nDevelop Reports for applications and users.\nPerformance tuning and query optimization of existing applications and databases\nSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS\nKnowledge or experience with programming languages: Perl, PHP, or C#\nKnowledge or Experience with the use of SQL database: MySQL or MS SQL database\nExperience with productivity tools like Word, Excel, Visio\nExperience with IDE\nTransform pseudo codes designs and specifications into high functioning scripts.\nFormulate scripts specifications and basic prototypes. Implement systems in inhouse production environment.\nAbility to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a team to develop solutions.\nDocument system proposal and analysis, establish software objectives and requirements, create functional specifications, generate system diagrams and user guides.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nUsing logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.\nStrong diagnostic, testing, and problem-solving skills.\nGive full attention to what other people are saying, take time to understand the points being made, ask appropriate questions, and do not interrupt at inappropriate times.\nFully bilingual Spanish/English.
