The BI Report Developer contributes to data governance and change control processes and excels in delivering high-quality presentations to internal stakeholders.\n\nWhat This Role Does:\nDesigns, develops, and deploys advanced Power BI reports and dashboards using structured data from Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse, SQL Server, and Synapse Analytics.\nUtilizes DAX expertise to create complex calculations, measures, and KPIs that provide meaningful insights to business users.\nImplements row-level security measures within Power BI to ensure data confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies.\nCollaborates with data engineering teams to optimize structured data models for enhanced report performance and user experience.\nManages Fabric capacity resources, monitors usage, and optimizes performance to ensure efficient report rendering.\nParticipates in data governance initiatives and adheres to change control processes to maintain data accuracy and consistency.\nPerforms thorough data analysis, distills insights, and crafts compelling data-driven narratives for effective storytelling.\nUtilizes advanced visualization techniques to create interactive and visually appealing reports that convey complex information clearly.\nPresents complex findings and reports to executive stakeholders in a clear, professional, and impactful manner.\nTroubleshoots and resolves issues related to report performance, data accuracy, and visualizations.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nWhat You Will Bring:\nA bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.\nA minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience as a Power BI developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse and impactful reports, is required.\nExpertise in working with structured data from Tabular Models, SQL Server, and Synapse Analytics as data sources.\nProficiency in writing complex DAX expressions and calculations to meet advanced reporting requirements.\nFamiliarity with Power BI security mechanisms.\nStrong data modeling skills within Power BI, including structured data transformation and optimization.\nIntermediate skills in Power BI Desktop, including using custom visuals, themes, and advanced interactivity.\nExceptional data analysis, storytelling, and visualization skills.\nExcellent presentation skills with the ability to confidently present to executive-level stakeholders.\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, maintaining professionalism under pressure and demonstrating attention to detail.\nAbility to guide and support others through collaboration, including assisting teammates and contributing to shared processes, to foster a high-quality, team-oriented environment that drives results.\nExcellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.\nSelf-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.\nDemonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.\nWillingness and ability to work flexible hours as needed, including availability for off-hours support as part of an on-call rotation.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern communication tools for virtual teams (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack).\nPreferred:\nScrum, Jira, or DevOps experience.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Fabric/OneLake.\nRelevant Power BI certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power BI.\n\nPhysical Demands:\nIn accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable state and local laws, the Company will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with documented disabilities to enable them to perform the essential functions of the job, unless such accommodations would impose an undue hardship.
