This role is responsible for investigating needs, effectively collaborating with stakeholders to develop user-friendly resources, and be a well-rounded resource that contributes to the organization’s success.\n\nWhat This Role Does:\nImproves scalability, stability, accuracy, speed, and efficiency of existing data systems.\nDesigns, builds, tests, documents, and deploys new libraries, frameworks or full systems for core systems while keeping to the highest standards of testing and code quality.\nWorks with experienced engineers and product owners to identify and build tools to automate many large-scale data management / analysis tasks.\nUnderstands and implements security and data protection.\nCollaborates as part of a Scrum team to support the design, development, testing, and delivery of software solutions.\nParticipates in code reviews.\nParticipates in daily standup meetings and all meetings of the agile SDLC: planning, estimation, retrospectives, demos, etc.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nWhat You Will Bring:\nA high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related fields is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.\nA minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience as a software developer.\nHands-on experience in professional Java software development at an enterprise level.\nDemonstrated understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.\nKnowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.\nKnowledge of developing RESTful Microservices with Sprint Boot.\nExperience with implementing distributed systems.\nExperience with version control systems.\nProficiency in Linux.\nA high-level understanding of data architecture principles.\nExperience debugging and reasoning about production issues.\nAbility to guide and support others through collaboration, including assisting teammates and contributing to shared processes, to foster a high-quality, team-oriented environment that drives results.\nExcellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.\nSelf-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.\nDemonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.\nWillingness and ability to work flexible hours as needed.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern communication tools for virtual teams (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack).\nPreferred:\nKnowledge of SIP and VoIP.\nExperience with Python, Javascript, PHP, React, and React Native.\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and VoIP.\n\nPhysical Demands:\nIn accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable state and local laws, the Company will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with documented disabilities to enable them to perform the essential functions of the job, unless such accommodations would impose an undue hardship.
