You’ll manage a portfolio of customer accounts to maximise cash collection, minimise overdue debt and resolve disputes, while keeping account records accurate and up to date.\nRequirements\nWhat you’ll be doing\nYou’ll be the friendly, professional voice that gets invoices paid. That means:\nProactively collecting debt across your assigned ledgers, prioritising by ageing, risk and payment behaviour\nEscalating high-risk accounts, potential bad debts and insolvencies to the O2C Lead\nDocumenting and following up every customer commitment to pay\nOwning disputes and invoice queries through to resolution, working with colleagues to remove barriers to payment\nCarrying out statement reconciliations and investigating account discrepancies\nSupporting the Sales Ledger team with payment allocation and remittance advice\nKeeping customer master data accurate and complete\nRunning credit checks, opening new accounts and recommending credit limit changes\nTaking part in debt review meetings with Sales, Operations, Customer Success and Finance\nRecording all collection activity in our CRM and supporting audit requests\nFinding ways to reduce manual effort and improve the customer experience\nWhat you’ll bring\nExperience in credit control, collections or accounts receivable\nConfident, professional communication, including on difficult conversations\nA methodical, detail-focused approach with good reconciliation skills\nGood organisation and the ability to prioritise a busy portfolio\nSound judgement on credit risk, and good Excel and finance systems skills\nBonus points if you’ve got:\nExperience with NetSuite or a similar ERP\nExperience in
