This is not a purely oversight role, the VP, FP&A will be in the models directly, building and stress-testing scenarios, and translating the numbers into decisions. Reporting to the CFO, this person will be a key partner to executive leadership and business unit owners, and will play a central role in the company's next chapter of growth.\nWe're looking for someone who wants to build, not just review, someone as comfortable inside the mechanics of a model as they are presenting its output to the CFO and board. \nKey Responsibilities:\n10+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A leadership, with a track record of being genuinely hands-on in the model - not several layers removed from it.\nDirect experience in a SaaS or recurring-revenue business, fluent in ARR, NRR, churn, cohort, and unit economics analysis.\nStrong financial modeling and scenario-planning skills - able to build complex models from scratch and pressure-test assumptions in real time.\nExposure to an exit, sale process, recapitalization, refinancing, or similar transaction, with a working understanding of what \"diligence-ready\" actually looks like.\nExecutive presence - able to move fluidly between deep model work and clear, confident presentation to the CFO and board.\nStrong judgment about what's urgent, what's important, and what can wait - able to prioritize across competing asks from the CFO, business leaders, and the sponsor.\nNice-to-haves:\nM&A diligence or post-acquisition integration experience.\nCPA, CFA, or MBA.\nPrior experience building or scaling an FP&A function from a less mature state.\nCompensation:\nIn the spirit of transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $200,000 - $240,000 USD and $185,000 - $225,000 CAD and exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at ClearGov, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, interview performance, education and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary for the role. Hiring beyond the base range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
