This is an opportunity for you to build the organisation from the ground up, use your voice to drive change and help transform organisations and problem domains.\nRole:\nWe are hiring a DevSecOps Engineer to join our AI-first Developer Platform team.\n\nThe team owns the CI/CD pipelines that every engineer here ships through. We also build our own products on top of GitHub, Artifactory, and a Kubernetes-hosted marketplace of build runners.\n\nThis is a hands-on build role in a regulated environment. You will build working software, not documents. You will own products, tools, services and security from end to end, and what you ship reaches delivery teams the same week.\n\nWe assess evidence over years. Show us what you have built, what you measured, and a decision the measurement changed.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nBuild working prototypes, and harden the ones that prove their value.\n\nPut agents to work on the toolchain, for example remediation at scale, pipeline upgrades, scanner triage and credential rotation.\n\nDesign how autonomous agents are allowed to act. This includes identity, scoping, audit trail and a stop control.\n\nCreate new products on our platform, such as self-serve dashboards, MCP servers, skills and developer tooling.\n\nMake the secure, correct path the default in the pipeline, so developers do not have to do more, earlier.\n\nRun time-boxed experiments, each with a decide-or-kill date and a written verdict.\n\nMake the estate observable, through monitoring, telemetry, logging, tracing and alerting.\n\nTalk to delivery teams directly, and bring back findings that change the roadmap.\n\nHelp run the platform, using zero-downtime practices that are defined in code and tested before release.\n\nRequired Experience:\nTest-driven and behaviour-driven development as your default way of working, including for pipelines, infrastructure and agents.\n\nPractical DevSecOps, where teams own their pipelines and security is part of building. Trunk-based development, with short-lived branches.\n\nPairing as a normal way of working.\n\nInfrastructure as code, reviewed and tested as code.\n\nMeasuring a problem first, then testing each solution against that measurement.\n\nReal experience with observability, including monitoring, telemetry, logging, tracing and alerting.\n\nExperience driving delivery metrics toward elite DORA performance, and understanding that the system matters more than the number.\n\nHands-on use of AI tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot, and interest in how engineering changes in an AI-first world.\n\nSome experience with CI/CD platforms, patterns and practices, and genuine interest in where they are going next.\n\nDesirable Experience:\nExperience with C#, Python or TypeScript.\n\nExperience with Terraform, AWS or Azure.\n\nExperience with GitHub, Azure DevOps or Artifactory.\n\nProduct instinct: you ask who the user is and what they will adopt before you ask what is technically interesting.\n\nExperience teaching others through pairing, writing or speaking internally.\n\nWorking at ClearRoute\nWe have grown from six founders to 180+ people across five countries in three years, and what sets us apart isn't the pace, it's how we grow.\nReal flexibility, in practice.
