This role requires 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, That covers identity, networking, CI/CD, observability and environment management, so teams can ship quickly and safely. You’ll set platform direction, make the key design calls and guide the engineers around you.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, build and own shared Azure platform services used by several delivery teams\n\nLead infrastructure-as-code with Terraform: reusable modules, standards and clean, repeatable environments\n\nBuild CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps) and golden paths for delivery teams\n\nDefine identity, networking, security and governance baselines\n\nSet up observability (logs, metrics, traces) and operational tooling\n\nWork with Tech Leads on their platform needs and trade-offs, and steer the platform roadmap\n\nMentor engineers and review their designs and code\n\nRequired Experience:\n8+ years in platform, cloud or infrastructure engineering, with recent senior-level ownership\n\nStrong hands-on Azure: Entra ID/identity, VNets/networking, policy and governance\n\nTerraform is mandatory, at production scale, including writing reusable modules\n\nCI/CD with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps\n\nKubernetes (AKS) and/or Azure container services\n\nObservability tools (Azure Monitor, App Insights, OpenTelemetry, etc.)\n\nHas supported several delivery teams in parallel and can make and defend platform decisions\n\nDesirable Experience:\nBicep, as well as Terraform\n\nPlatform engineering for AI / ML / LLM workloads on Azure\n\nExperience building internal developer platforms or golden paths\n\nConsulting or client-embedded delivery background\n\nWorking at ClearRoute\nWe have grown from six founders to 180+ people across five countries in three years, and what sets us apart isn't the pace, it's how we grow.\nReal flexibility, in practice.
