You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant software solutions.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain web applications and RESTful APIs using TypeScript, GraphQL, React, and Node.js.\n\nCollaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\n\nBuild intuitive user interfaces using modern web technologies, with a focus on usability and responsiveness.\n\nImplement server-side logic and business rules using Node.js and Express framework.\n\nDevelop and integrate with external APIs and third-party services to enable data exchange and system integrations.\n\nDesign and optimise databases, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and query performance.\n\nImplement and maintain unit tests and end-to-end tests using frameworks like Jest or Mocha, practicing Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.\n\nEnsure code quality and adherence to best practices through code reviews, refactoring, and continuous improvement.\n\nCollaborate with DevOps engineers to implement and improve CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and release management.\n\nTroubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or identified through testing, providing timely resolutions.\n\nContribute to the documentation of software design, architecture, and development processes.\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).\n\nStrong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.\n\nExperience with React and state management libraries like Redux or MobX.\n\nSolid understanding and hands-on experience with GraphQL.\n\nProficiency in backend development using Node.js and Express framework.\n\nStrong knowledge of building RESTful APIs, including authentication, authorisation, and data validation.\n\nFamiliarity with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.\n\nExperience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit tests using frameworks like Jest or Mocha.\n\nExperience with version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliarity with containerisation technologies like Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.\n\nKnowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n\nUnderstanding of continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.\n\nFamiliarity with UI design principles and experience collaborating with UX/UI designers.\n\nExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile team environment.\n\nExperience in leading the dev team.\n\nWhat Next?\nClearRoute is committed to creating an inclusive working environment where people can be themselves at work.
