From a garage in Switzerland, we now operate across UK and Europe, and are working with world-leading institutions and companies to bring our dream of a sustainable space ecosystem to life.\nThe Role\nThe successful candidate will be a key member of the London Team and will help develop the GNC architecture for one of our missions.\nRole Responsibilities\nBe the Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) Architect for the mission\nDefine the GNC architecture for the mission;\nDefine and manage the GNC Subsystem Requirements;\nDefine the GNC simulator and the test specifications\nManage the GNC engineering team of the mission\nDefine risks and risk mitigation strategies for the GNC subsystem\nContribute to the optimisation of the overall system by capturing the needs of other subsystems and proposing the adequate GNC-level solutions for the other disciplines\nInterface with the program management and technical team especially the System Architect and Robotic System Architect\nMust Have\n10+ years of experience in AOCS or GNC design\nExperience of GNC algorithm design e.g. navigation filters, guidance strategies and/or controllers.\nExperience designing fault-tolerant GNC systems e.g. fault-tolerant algorithm / software design.\nKnowledge and experience of GNC rendezvous and pose estimation sensors and methods.\nExperience of satellite trajectory design and analysis e.g. walking safety ellipses, passively safe trajectories, abort manoeuvres and collision avoidance manoeuvres.\nExperience of GNC hardware integration and test.\nExperience with software packages commonly used for aerospace simulations e.g. MATLAB/Simulink and Python.\nExperience of programming in C/C++.\nNice to have\n(BSc/MSc) Degree in aerospace engineering or another relevant engineering/science discipline\nAdditional languages\nStrong analytical skills\nInformation about our data processing is set out in our candidate data privacy notice.","description_format":"text","description_chars":2337,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Space Services"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-21T19:59:35Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Senior or Specialist Worker, Skilled Worker)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Global Business Mobility: Senior or Specialist Worker;
