From a garage in Switzerland, we now operate across UK and Europe, and are working with world-leading institutions and companies to bring our dream of a sustainable space ecosystem to life.\nWe are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join ClearSpace.\nThe Role\nThe successful candidate will be a key member of our Electrical Systems Team, working to support the rapid delivery of spacecraft. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rapidly expanding, multi-disciplinary environment with opportunities to grow professionally and offer the chance to work outside of your discipline, if desired. The current role will involve all aspects of the spacecraft avionics and electrical systems, but with a particular focus on electronics to support robotics developments.\nResponsibilities\nSupport all phases of the electrical subsystem lifecycle (spacecraft platform and robotics payloads), from conceptual phase until testing and validation\nDefine the key aspects of the subsystem, including power and data interfaces, sensor architectures\nPerform requirements engineering and generate equipment specifications\nSupport supplier selection and subcontractor management for key hardware deliverables.\nSupport in-house development of electronics boards\nSupport the definition of harness for test and spacecraft\nDefine required EGSE and support the build or procurement\nPerform commissioning, validation, and functional testing of electrical subsystems, including analysis of test results\nDefine and document electrical interface specifications\nSupport integration activities and execute functional and performance verification tests\nSupport the development of software for testing and flight\nAct as the technical point of contact on the electrical subsystem with key stakeholders: internal, customers, subcontractors.\nAdvise the spacecraft team on all areas of electrical concern (e.g. grounding, EMC, power, charging)\nHelp define validation, verificationand test plans\nMust Have\nBSc/MSc Degree in engineering or equivalent (with mathematics, scienceor engineering content specific to aviation/aerospace applications)\n5+ years of avionics engineering experience in the space industryAnalogue and digital electronics design for robotics and motor control\n\nSpecification and test of electrical equipment\nKnowledge of communication buses (CAN, SpaceWire, Ethernet, etc.).\nNice to Have\nDesign and development of space-qualified electronic boards\nWorking with spacecraft power systems, instrumentationand flight software\nEmbedded software development for commissioning and testing\nDesigning for EMC/EMI/ESD\nEnd-to-end development from product concept to customer/market delivery\nTechnical leadership \nDeveloping to common space standards (ECSS, MIL, etc)","description_format":"text","description_chars":3176,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Luxembourg","iso":"LU","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Space & Aerospace"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-06T10:31:55Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Senior or Specialist Worker, Skilled Worker)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Global Business Mobility: Senior or Specialist Worker;
