Configuration\nBuild and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, and record types in Salesforce\nWrite Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) under guidance from senior developers\nConfigure Flows, Process Builder, and validation rules to automate business processes\nSupport declarative (clicks-not-code) solutions before recommending custom code\nTesting & Quality\nWrite unit tests for Apex code to meet code coverage and quality standards\nDebug and troubleshoot issues in existing customizations and integrations\nSupport user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate fixes before deployment\nFollow release management and deployment best practices (sandboxes, change sets, CI/CD tools)\nIntegrations & Data\nAssist with integrations between Salesforce and other business systems (marketing automation, ERP, support tools)\nSupport data migration, imports, and data quality efforts using tools like Data Loader\nHelp maintain APIs and middleware connections (e.g., REST/SOAP callouts, MuleSoft, or similar)\nCollaboration & Support\nPartner with business analysts and stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, and Operations to understand requirements\nTranslate business requirements into technical solutions within the Salesforce platform\nDocument technical designs, configurations, and code changes\nProvide day-to-day support for Salesforce users, resolving tickets and bugs as needed\nAI & Automation Development\nHelp build and configure an interactive AI support agent within Salesforce (e.g., Agentforce/Einstein or custom LWC integration with an LLM API) to automate responses to common user questions\nDevelop Apex classes and Lightning Web Components to connect the AI agent to Salesforce data (cases, knowledge articles, CRM records)\nConfigure and train the AI agent using knowledge base content, FAQs, and support workflows\nWrite test cases to validate AI agent responses, accuracy, and proper escalation to human agents\nMonitor and iterate on AI agent performance, expanding automated coverage over time\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)\n0-2 years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform (internships, coursework, or personal projects count)\nBasic understanding of Apex, Visualforce, and/or Lightning Web Components\nFamiliarity with object-oriented programming concepts\nUnderstanding of relational databases and basic SQL/SOQL\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nWillingness to learn Salesforce best practices and platform updates\nPreferred (Not Required)\nSalesforce Platform Developer I certification (or in progress)\nSalesforce Administrator certification\nExperience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools\nExposure to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript\nInterest in or exposure to AI/LLM tools (e.g., Salesforce Einstein/Agentforce, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, chatbot frameworks)\nCoursework, internship, or project experience involving CRM or business systems\nWhat Success Looks Like\nYou deliver clean, well-tested code that meets business requirements\nYou become comfortable navigating the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related tools)\nYou build strong working relationships with business analysts and stakeholders across the company\nYou progress toward a Salesforce Platform Developer II certification and a mid-level developer
