If you're energized by solving complex pay challenges, working cross-functionally, and growing your scope alongside a scaling company, this is the role for you.\nYou will partner closely with HR leadership, Finance, and business leaders to ensure compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with Clearwater's growth strategy.\nKey Responsibilities:\nGlobal Compensation Ownership\nLead the design, implementation, and maintenance of salary structures, pay grades, and compensation bands across regions.\n\nManage job architecture, leveling, and job evaluation processes to ensure consistency and fairness globally.\n\nMonitor regulatory and compliance requirements related to compensation.\n\nMarket Data & Benchmarking\nOwn vendor relationships for market data surveys and tools.\n\nConduct regular market analyses to ensure Clearwater remains competitive in all regions.\n\nProvide actionable insights on pay trends, equity, and internal parity.\n\nCompensation Programs\nSupport design and administration of annual merit, bonus, and incentive programs.\n\nPartner with Finance and HRBPs to model compensation budgets and forecasting scenarios.\n\nDeliver clear reporting and analytics to inform executive decision-making.\n\nProcess & Tools\nDevelop scalable processes for compensation review cycles and job evaluations.\n\nEnsure HRIS and compensation systems are optimized for accurate data and reporting.\n\nEstablish documentation, guidelines, and training for managers and HR partners.\n\nRequirements:\n5+ years of progressive experience in compensation analysis, preferably in a global or high-growth technology/financial services company.\n\nStrong expertise in job architecture, market benchmarking, pay grades, and compensation frameworks.\n\nAdvanced analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and HRIS/compensation tools (Workday experience a plus).\n\nExperience working directly with senior leadership to influence and guide compensation decisions.\n\nHighly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable operating in both strategic and tactical capacities.\n\nStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex data in a clear, concise way.\n\nConsulting experience is a plus\n\nSalary Range\n$130,000-$180,000\nThis is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
