Are you ready to change the world with us?\nABOUT THE ROLE\nThe Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all vendors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.\nWe are currently only considering applicants located in the Boise area.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nResponsible for day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, corporate credit card reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and various other transactional issues.\nTrack, process, and reconcile: purchase orders, invoices, statements, payments, checks, and refunds in compliance with internal financial policies.\nPerform financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable data.\nEnsure correct approval, sorting, coding, and matching of invoices and receipts.\nMaintain and update vendor database.\nIdentify, verify, address, and resolve discrepancies with vendor billing issues.\nAudit and verify integrity of various financial reports with internal and external partners.\nCollaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.\nMaintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.\nDemonstrates the Clēnera Core Values of Caring, Committed, and Courageous.\nOther duties as assigned related to tasks with both the AP and AR department as needed. \nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nEducation: Associate’s degree or equivalent years of experience. \nExperience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts payable/receivable role or similar. \nTechnology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines. \nSkills/Attributes: Understands general ledger coding, accruals, and the impact of transactions on financial statements.\nIndependently identifies and resolves PO/invoice mismatches, duplicate entries, and payment delays using root cause analysis.\nApplies understanding of project cost structures and budget codes to ensure accurate PO alignment with solar development financials.\nManages multiple transactions and deadlines efficiently in a project-driven environment.\nTakes initiative in managing PO lifecycle tasks, ensuring timely processing and proactively addressing bottlenecks.\nCoordinates with vendors, project managers, and finance teams to clarify discrepancies and maintain smooth AP operations.\n\nBENEFITS\nClēnera pays 100% of employee and dependent premiums for a suite of medical, dental, and vision coverages.\nHybrid Work Environment\nHSA and FSA Plans Available\nEmployee Assistance Program\nRetirement Plan with Employer Match\nLife Insurance (Basic, Voluntary, and AD&D\nPaid Time Off (Vacation and Public Holidays)\nIncentive Pay and RSU Plans\n*Recruiting agencies, we are not currently accepting unsolicited referrals for this or any open role.
