Are you ready to change the world with us?\nABOUT THE ROLE\nThe Development Manager oversees day to day project execution including all permitting and environmental filings, supervision of project development timelines, and management of a variety of internal and external stakeholders.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nResponsible for the development of utility scale solar assets; including coordinating a team of professionals, both internal and external, in various company functional areas during the development phase (real estate, environmental and permitting).\nProvide technical, economic and risk analysis of solar development assets and potential project acquisitions.\nInteract with local zoning and permitting boards, taxing jurisdictions as well as state and federal permitting agencies.\nRelationship management of key stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle; including landowners, permitting agencies, and regulatory authorities. \nProvide project development feedback to Business Development team to assist in responding to RFPs.\nExtract and manage all mitigation measures obtained from key permitting and environmental documents.\nCollaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.\nMaintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.\nDemonstrates the Clēnera Core Values of Caring, Committed, and Courageous.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, business, finance, economics, or related field.\nExperience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in renewables, environmental, permitting, real estate development, or related industry.\nTechnology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.\nSkills/Attributes:Ability to effectively lead early-stage development projects.\nAbility to translate, interpret, and make key decisions based on complex development contracts.\nFunctional knowledge of power markets and interconnection processes.\nFoundational contract negotiation skills and best practices.\nBasic skill in persuading and influencing others.\n\nTravel: Up to 30%\nBENEFITS\nClēnera pays 100% of employee and dependent premiums for a suite of medical, dental, and vision coverages.\nHybrid Work Environment\nHSA and FSA Plans Available\nEmployee Assistance Program\nRetirement Plan with Employer Match\nLife Insurance (Basic, Voluntary, and AD&D\nPaid Time Off (Vacation and Public Holidays)\nIncentive Pay and RSU Plans\n*Recruiting agencies, we are not currently accepting unsolicited referrals for this or any open role.
