Cleo Never Stops.\nThe Opportunity \nAs a Senior Implementation Engineer II at Cleo, you are the technical backbone of your TEAM: configuring complex integrations, leading customer status meetings, guiding junior engineers through challenges, and bridging the gap between solution design and hands-on implementation. This is where deep technical execution meets leadership accountability - and where your path to Principal Engineer begins.\nWhat You'll Do\nTechnical Delivery\nLead technical delivery for assigned projects from implementation through Hypercare.\nConfigure and troubleshoot complex EDI, API, ERP, and B2B integrations.\nBuild advanced Business Process Sequences (BPS), data mappings, and API workflows.\nImplement performance, security, and integration best practices.\nCustomer & Project Leadership \nAct as the primary technical contact throughout project delivery.\nLead customer meetings, workshops, UAT, and technical discussions.\nPartner with Project Managers and Solution Architects on planning, scoping, estimation, and issue resolution.\nDrive technical escalations and ensure timely project delivery.\nTechnical Expertise\nDesign and implement integrations using ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, REST/SOAP APIs, and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, VAN, HTTP/S).\nDevelop ERP integrations across multiple platforms (SAP preferred).\nImplement authentication, OAuth, encryption, monitoring, and API security.\nOptimize integration performance and troubleshoot complex production issues.\nTeam Enablement\nMentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and onboarding.\nPromote engineering best practices, documentation, and reusable solutions.\nWhat You Bring\nRequired \nStrong experience with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, and B2B integration.\nExpertise in AS2, SFTP, VAN, HTTP/S, REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, and API security.\nHands-on experience building complex BPS workflows, advanced data mappings, and ERP integrations (SAP preferred).\nStrong troubleshooting, performance optimization, and documentation skills.\nExperience leading technical delivery and mentoring engineers.\nAbility to manage customer communication, technical discussions, and project escalations.\nStrong collaboration with Project Managers, Architects, and cross-functional teams.\nB.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.\n5-7 years of EDI, B2B Integration, or Middleware implementation experience.\nPreferred\nPrevious technical lead or delivery ownership experience preferred.\nExperience in retail, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain.\nExposure to Sterling, Gentran, OpenText, Axway, or similar integration platforms.\nKnowledge of Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC) or Clarify.\nExperience with multiple ERP platforms and AI-assisted productivity tools.\nBehavior Competencies\nInitiative & Innovation - Ability to be proactive and develop new ideas\nLevel 3: Creativity- Analyzes anomalies and develops appropriate solutions.
