You will sit at the intersection of operations, product, and engineering, turning first-hand process knowledge into the systems and agents that replace it. The measure of success here is a queue that runs without you.\nWhat You'll Do\nRun cases and own the queue in your operational domain day-to-day, logging every point where a process breaks or creates friction.\n\nBecome the deepest internal expert on your domain's workflows and edge cases.\n\nBuild and ship automation rules and sub-flows that replace the manual work you started by doing yourself.\n\nDrive and validate measurable improvements on every flow you rebuild.\n\nHandle edge cases and knife-edge scenarios that automation does not yet cover.\n\nTranslate operational findings and failure modes into clear specs and requirements for Engineering and Product teams.\n\nContribute directly to shipping the systems and agents that replace manual operations.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n2 to 3 internships in high-growth startups, venture capital, or consulting, or equivalent initiative through side projects, student organizations, research, or entrepreneurial work.\n\nHands-on experience automating real workflows with AI tools, used in practice rather than as experiments.\n\nExperience running manual operational workflows end-to-end and documenting failure modes and process breakdowns.\n\nExperience building process automation rules, sub-flows, or workflow logic to replace manual work.\n\nComfort working in fast-moving environments with minimal process documentation.\n\nAbility to translate operational observations into technical specifications for engineering teams.\n\nFamiliarity with no-code or low-code automation platforms (such as Zapier, Make, or n8n) is a plus.\n\nExposure to banking, payments, or fintech operations is a plus.\n\nBased in New York City or willing to relocate.\n\nSystems-first mindset: your instinct is to automate and build, not to add headcount or manual steps.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary range: $100,000 to $125,000 USD annually.
