You will shape the technical direction and build a proprietary platform for training and evaluating AI systems that create and improve advertising content, informed by real creator and campaign data.\nWhat You'll Do\nSet technical and research strategy, taking existing creative workflows toward a proprietary training and evaluation platform.\n\nBuild data infrastructure connecting briefs, submissions, generation traces, human decisions, critique, and campaign outcomes.\n\nDevelop systems to evaluate, rank, critique, generate, and improve creative work.\n\nDesign allocation policies for campaign budgets that also support useful data collection.\n\nMake decisions about frontier models, fine-tuning, post-training, reinforcement learning, and original research.\n\nBuild reliable infrastructure for creator workflows, campaigns, experimentation, model training, and inference.\n\nSet standards for data quality, consent, privacy, measurement, and model evaluation.\n\nRecruit and lead the first engineering and research team, while working directly with creators and brands.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nAt least 3 years of relevant experience and hands-on experience building preference or reward models, including RLHF, ranking subjective outputs, or evaluation systems.\n\nExperience shipping production products, building production ML infrastructure, and owning a model, evaluation, or infrastructure program end to end.\n\nBackground in causal inference on observational data, such as selection bias, off-policy or counterfactual evaluation, and adaptive experimentation.\n\nExperience with ads, marketplaces, recommenders, or ranking systems tied to business outcomes, including noisy or delayed feedback.\n\nStrong skills in Python and production machine learning; experience with bandits, sequential allocation, online experimentation, multimodal systems, or agents is valuable.\n\nAbility to recruit and lead technical talent and commit full time to an early-stage co-founder role, with an expected 6 to 7 days per week.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nEquity is approximately 28 percent as an equal co-founder.
