You will own core systems across the agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime, helping establish the foundations for the product as it grows.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild and operate the agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime end to end.\n\nSet engineering patterns and practices that support the work of future engineers.\n\nWork directly with company founders to shape the system and regularly ship production improvements.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nTwo to nine years of professional software engineering experience, with a broad background beyond machine learning alone.\n\nA completed or in-progress bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in engineering, computer science, or a quantitative field from a strong technical university.\n\nExperience repeatedly shipping and owning production systems end to end, with demonstrated ability across agent platforms, infrastructure, and integration runtimes.\n\nComfort using multiple AI coding agents while applying sound judgment to production quality.\n\nExperience founding a startup with outside funding or full-time employees, or engineering at an early-stage startup backed by a recognized accelerator or venture capital firm.\n\nFamiliarity with TypeScript, React, Bun, Effect-TS, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, or AWS is relevant to the stack.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary range: $150,000 to $250,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available where an O-1 visa is a realistic option.\nLocation\nOn-site in San Francisco, California, five days per week.
