This foundational role will shape infrastructure architecture and establish the practices needed to deploy and scale reliable, secure systems.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign and build cloud infrastructure from the ground up, from initial architecture through production deployment and scaling.\n\nMake foundational decisions about cloud architecture, infrastructure tooling, and operational standards.\n\nBuild and operate container orchestration, deployment automation, and infrastructure-as-code systems.\n\nEstablish monitoring, observability, logging, security, and access control for production infrastructure.\n\nDevelop database and data infrastructure that supports the platform's needs.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nApproximately 5 to 12 years of experience, including at least 5 years building and operating production cloud infrastructure.\n\nHands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or a comparable cloud platform, including networking, storage, compute, and managed services.\n\nExperience designing and managing production Kubernetes clusters or other container orchestration platforms.\n\nExperience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi, and with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.\n\nFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, or New Relic.\n\nExperience with relational and NoSQL database infrastructure, infrastructure security, networking, and access control.\n\nComfort building systems and setting standards in an early-stage or high-growth environment.
