You will design and build the cloud infrastructure from scratch, making architectural decisions that will shape the product and company for years to come. There is no existing system to maintain; you are creating it.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign and build cloud infrastructure from the ground up to power a semantic, ontology-driven enterprise platform.\n\nOwn the full infrastructure lifecycle, from initial architecture through production deployment and scaling.\n\nArchitect and manage Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration in production environments.\n\nImplement infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.\n\nDesign and deploy database infrastructure spanning relational and NoSQL systems at scale.\n\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation systems.\n\nEstablish infrastructure security, networking, and access control practices from scratch.\n\nImplement monitoring, observability, and logging systems across the stack.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n5 to 12 years of experience building and operating cloud infrastructure in production environments.\n\nProven experience with Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration platforms in production.\n\nStrong hands-on background with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure, including networking, storage, compute, and managed services.\n\nExperience designing and deploying infrastructure-as-code solutions.\n\nSolid background in database infrastructure, including both relational and NoSQL systems.\n\nExperience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tooling such as Prometheus, Datadog, or the ELK stack.\n\nDemonstrated ability to build from scratch in a startup or high-growth environment, rather than a background limited to large enterprises or consulting.\n\nStable employment history with a track record of sustained ownership and impact.\n\nBonus: experience with data pipelines, knowledge graphs, graph databases, semantic systems, or ML/AI platform infrastructure.\n\nLocation\nOn-site in San Mateo, California, United States.
