# Founding Engineer

About the Role Join an early-stage AI company building multimodal agents for customer conversations across voice, SMS, and email. You will own a core product or engineering domain end to end, working closely with customers and the team to shape the product and bring improvements into production. What You'll Do Own a product or infrastructure domain from architecture through daily production releases. Speak with customers, synthesize feedback, and make product decisions without a dedicated product manager. Build and optimize multimodal agents, including low-latency voice experiences and persistent conversation state across channels. Set quality practices for non-deterministic systems, including evaluations, prompt versioning, guardrails, and drift detection. Work across React and Next.js frontends, Node.js backends, and Python services. What We're Looking For Three to eight years of full-stack engineering experience, with a track record of shipping and scaling products from early development into broader use. Production proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js, plus experience building Python services. Hands-on experience shipping production systems with LLM API
