You will own core product development across backend services, optimization, operator interfaces, and cloud infrastructure.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild backend services and optimization algorithms for real-time energy asset processing.\n\nDevelop dashboards that help battery operators monitor and control assets.\n\nDesign and scale cloud infrastructure for distributed battery systems.\n\nDeploy production optimizations and improve them using real-world feedback.\n\nWork with cross-functional teammates to define product features and requirements.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nUp to five years of professional experience and a graduation date of 2023 or later.\n\nFull-stack experience with React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Python.\n\nHands-on experience with energy systems and energy management controllers, plus demonstrated interest in the energy sector.\n\nExperience as a founding engineer or founding product engineer, ideally at an early-stage startup.\n\nExperience deploying optimization methods in production and a solid understanding of mixed-integer optimization.\n\nCloud infrastructure experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.\n\nA bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, or electrical engineering, with a grade better than 2.0.\n\nFluent or near-fluent German and a semester abroad at a highly regarded university in the US, UK, or Asia.\n\nParticipation in a selective extracurricular group during university is a plus.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nAnnual base salary: €70,000 to €100,000.
