You will own core systems across the agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime, working closely with the founders and helping shape the technical foundation for future engineers.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild and own production systems end-to-end across agent orchestration, infrastructure, and the integrations runtime.\n\nDevelop reliable systems for durable execution, self-healing integrations, and a knowledge base that improves with use.\n\nSet engineering patterns and foundations that support the team as it grows.\n\nWork directly with the founders, ship to production frequently, and shape the overall system.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nTwo to nine years of professional software engineering experience, with repeated ownership of production systems from development through operation.\n\nExperience across agent platforms, infrastructure, and integration runtimes, with strong judgment about production quality while using AI coding agents.\n\nFamiliarity with TypeScript, React, Bun, Effect-TS, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and AWS.\n\nA completed or in-progress engineering, computer science, or quantitative degree from a top technical university.\n\nStartup experience as a founder whose company raised outside funding or hired a full-time employee, or as an engineer at a venture-backed pre-seed through Series A startup. Your experience should include early-stage technology work, not solely large-company, enterprise, consulting, agency, or non-tech roles.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary is $150,000 to $250,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available when an O-1 visa is a realistic option.\nLocation\nOn-site, five days a week in San Francisco, California.
