This founding role combines data engineering, applied AI, and customer collaboration, while building reusable tools and practices to make future deployments more effective.\nWhat You'll Do\nWork with customer revenue and operations leaders to understand business goals and identify valuable problems to solve.\n\nLead customer onboarding, scope data access, and map undocumented warehouse schemas to business concepts.\n\nInterview customer data and business teams to establish consistent definitions and validate data mappings.\n\nBuild customer-facing signals and workflows, including custom agent configurations, and diagnose issues with their outputs.\n\nDefine success measures with customers and build analysis that demonstrates the impact of deployments.\n\nTurn deployment learnings into reusable validation frameworks, evaluation harnesses, and mapping tools.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nAt least 3 years of experience in a technical customer-facing role, such as forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, or software engineering with substantial customer engagement.\n\nAn engineering or data science background, with applied statistics or modeling experience and a degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a comparable quantitative field.\n\nStrong SQL and dbt skills, plus experience navigating undocumented data warehouses and resolving inconsistent business definitions.\n\nApplied data science knowledge, including distributions, seasonality, validation design, and calibration.\n\nExperience building custom agent setups beyond default implementations and defining metrics to demonstrate customer outcomes.\n\nExperience at an early-stage startup, or a combination of large-company experience with startup or founder experience. Founder experience is valued.\n\nA detail-oriented, evidence-driven approach and comfort with ambiguity and end-to-end ownership.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary: $180,000 to $250,000 annually.
