As the founding hardware engineer, you will own the hardware from the next board revision through production, helping shape a product designed for use on the move.\nWhat You'll Do\nImprove PCB layout, power, RF, size, reliability, and cost across upcoming hardware revisions.\n\nTake prototype hardware toward production by developing manufacturing, testing, supplier, and assembly processes.\n\nIdentify and resolve issues during board bring-up, real-world testing, and manufacturing.\n\nOwn hardware decisions and the quality of each device that ships.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nTypically 2 to 7 years of experience, with a track record of personally designing PCBs that shipped in a real product.\n\nExperience with compact wearables, IoT devices, or consumer electronics is especially relevant.\n\nExperience taking hardware from prototype to production, including layout, power, RF, testing, suppliers, and assembly.\n\nEarly-career engineers with strong fundamentals and demonstrated ability to work quickly with AI tools may also be a fit.\n\nA hands-on approach and interest in owning design, testing, and manufacturing work end to end.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary is $70,000 to $80,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.\nLocation\nFull-time, on-site role in San Francisco, California, United States.
