You will work closely with customers and the founding team to turn market data and energy market dynamics into practical, scalable products.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn product features from discovery and design through development and deployment.\n\nTranslate customer needs and product objectives into clear requirements.\n\nBuild performant backend services for a data-intensive application.\n\nCreate intuitive interfaces for complex energy decision-support workflows.\n\nDevelop time-series forecasts for power consumption and renewable generation.\n\nBuild linear optimization algorithms to help reduce energy costs.\n\nHelp shape the product and its technical foundations.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nAt least two years of software engineering experience delivering scalable web applications in an early-stage startup environment.\n\nExperience independently shipping full product features in collaboration with customers, with ownership across full-stack or machine-learning product engineering.\n\nStrong software engineering fundamentals and experience building maintainable, scalable applications, including frontend interfaces for complex decision-support systems and backend services for data-intensive products.\n\nFluent spoken and written German, and a product-minded, hands-on approach suited to an early-stage team.\n\nExperience across frontend and backend development. PostgreSQL, React, and Python experience are relevant; TypeScript, FastAPI, and Supabase are useful.\n\nExperience or strong interest in time-series forecasting and/or linear optimization, with curiosity about energy markets.\n\nA strong career signal, such as a high-quality university education, experience at a high-growth startup, or equivalent accomplishments.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary range: €85,000 to €140,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.\nLocation\nHybrid, based in Munich, Germany.
